Successful Eid-ul-Adha BBQ Held at Al Jamia Al Zahra, Francis Street, Halifax
A well-attended Eid-ul-Adha BBQ was held at Al Jamia Al Zahra, Halifax under the supervision of Sahibzada Hafiz Pir Syed Muhammad Haider Tirmezi, (Chairman of Shah Walayat Foundation).
The gathering brought together members of the local community who enjoyed a pleasant and lively atmosphere during the celebrations. Guests were served a wide selection of food including delicious chicken pieces, chicken wings, freshly prepared lamb burgers and various other refreshments. A variety of cold drinks, ice creams and tea were also available throughout the event.
Blessed with excellent weather, attendees spent the evening enjoying food, fellowship and the spirit of Eid-ul-Adha with family and friends. The event was described by many as a successful and memorable occasion for the community.
Many attendees highly appreciated the gathering and praised the centre for being unique in organising such community events that bring people together in a welcoming environment. Speaking at the event, one attendee, Haji Zaid, said: “Events like this create harmony and bring everyone together.”
Special appreciation was also expressed for Haji Nadeem and his family, who played a major role in organising the event, particularly in preparing and cooking the BBQ for the large number of guests in attendance.
Special prayers were also offered for all organisers, volunteers and participants who contributed towards the success of the gathering. Particular prayers and tributes were made in memory of the late Murshid, Hazrat Professor Pir Syed Ahmad Hussain Shah Tirmezi رحمة الله عليه, with supplications made for Allah Almighty to elevate his ranks and shower His mercy upon him.
