The Shah Walayat Foundation was established in 2001 by our Founder, Hazrat Professor Allama Pir Syed Ahmad Hussain Shah Tirmezi (RA), and is now being led by their son and current Chairman Hafiz Pir Syed Mohammad Haider Tirmezi Shah Sahib.
The Shah Walayat Foundation (SWF) is a registered charity in the UK (Reg no. 1093750) that aims to better communities and lives in the UK and worldwide whilst also helping Islam to propogate and flourish.
SWF maintains and runs Al Jamia Al Zahra, a madrassah based in Halifax, UK that is focused on delivering Islamic Education to all those looking to seek it, conforming in the Sunni Hannafi Madhab. Al Jamia Al Zahra is also a community centre which has helped the lives of many people within the local community
Services offered by SWF include Islamic Studies for all ages, Support and Advice from qualified Sheikhs, Zahra Food Bank, Fundraising for Internation Relief, Aid in Muslim countries and community events for our youth.
The Shah Walayat Foundation was named so after Hazrat Qibla Pir Syed Walayat Ali Shah Sahib (RA), who was a 37th generation descendant of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and a Great Wali Allah (Saint), so great, they were known by the title Shahenshah-e-Walayat.
Hazrat Professor Allama Pir Syed Ahmad Hussain Shah Tirmezi RA (1953-2020), was the Grandson of Shahenshah-e-Walayat (RA) and a great Wali Allah of their time.
Qibla Pir Sahib (RA) was known for their kind hearting and loving nature in addition to their humbleness - often being called for diplomatic missions in Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan
Revered worldwide by the Ulema, Qibla Pir Sahib's legacy left it's impression on all.
Qibla Pir Sahib (RA) was a 39th Generation descendant of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and also a great Pir in the Naqshbandi chain.

SWF's current Chairman is Hafiz Pir Syed Muhammad Haider Tirmezi Shah. An accomplished Imam who has had the fortune of being taught by some of the greatest scholars of our time, in addition to studying in Cairo, Egypt. Acting as Sectary General is their younger brother, Pir Syed Muhammad Hasanaat Tirmezi Shah Sahib.
United, both of these brothers have rallied those who attend SWF together in the wake of their father's veiling to propel SWF towards a modern age.
Embracing technology and leveraging the skills of the people available, SWF has pushed forward to deliver teaching experiences with cutting edge technology, increasing student engagement, in addition to delivering several professional in-house YouTube productions and starting a food bank.
This is just to name a few of the varied ways that SWF has pushed forward and continues to do so.
